Bushmills 16 Year Irish Single Malt Whiskey is produced at the Old Bushmills distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is matured for 16 years in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon seasoned casks, then finished for nine months in port pipes.
The nose has notes of spice, toffee, licorice, fruit, and vanilla. The palate features nutty notes with malt, spice, vanilla, port, sherry, and fruit, followed by a clean, crisp, sherried finish.
